UNDERSTANDING OUR TECHNOLOGY...

The unique i2* coating technology is formulated to meet the needs of a wide range of finishing requirements and application environments. i2 is designed to achieve fast cure cross-linking under ambient conditions without the need for additional heat. i2 produces a durable, resilient film with automotive quality gloss and clarity. Hot, humid weather can cause carbon dioxide bubbles or solvent popping during the curing cycle when traditional urethane formulations employ secondary catalysts to accelerate their curing. i2 requires no secondary catalysts to achieve a fast cure. In the i2 chemistry, the humidity is beneficial and provides the catalytic stimulant to accelerate the curing without the risk of causing carbon dioxide bubbles or solvent popping, regardless of film thickness, as the applied wet film is curing. i2 can provide superior properties when applied over ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates with appropriate pre-treatment or suitable primer, along with numerous engineered plastic, composite, and wood substrates. When the i2 is applied over the ZRU, zinc rich moisture cure urethane primer, exceptional corrosion resistance is achieved, exceeding even the results obtained by powder coatings.

Although it would be presumptuous to elaborate on the potential benefits that the i2 or i2/ZRU coating system may offer your finishing operation, we hope that the following technical synopsis will provide sufficient information for a preliminary evaluation. Should you permit us to assist you in determining the potential suitability of our technology to benefit your finishing operation, we will provide you with a candid assessment as to all the potential
